Keabadian Cinta or Eternal Love is a definite watch Malay telemovie! I can't believe that I just found out about it today!It's already 1 year!Hehe..I guess, I can be outdated in meeting great dramas to watch.
Directed by none other than Kabir Bathia, one of the best directors in Malaysia who previously produced many beautiful and amazing love stories such as Sepi, Cinta,Tiramisu and of course, the unforgettable Nur Kasih.Keabadian Cinta is definitely another gem of love stories and it doesn't bring us only one but three stories about the ever puzzling subject of love with a clear theme - impossible situations in love.
This 90-minute drama, which premiered in February 2010, stars Eizlan Yusoff, Cheryl Samad and Sari Yanti as the central characters. (See, I only found out about it after 1 year.Haha...I'm really outdated!)
So, what's the story is about?
Eizlan plays Rashad, a matured and respected man in a big company, whose life is surrounded with work and finding a soulmate is the last thing on his mind - that is until he meets the youthful Dina (Tiz Zaqyah), an intern at his workplace. Love sparks immediately between the two as Dina has loved him from the very first day they met. However, warning bells rang when Rashad learnt that she is actually his friend's daughter.Ooppss...that's really bad!
Cheryl plays Maya, who falls in love with David (Gavin Stenhouse), an American boy whom she met while pursuing her Master's Degree in the States. Now Maya had brought David home to Malaysia to meet her parents and plan their wedding, which proves to be the toughest test to their love.Wow, they really need to work hard!Haha..
As the two fortunate and wealthy characters deal with their own relationship problems, Sari Yanti and Remy Ishak play the unfortunate Suri and Ehsan respectively. Suri is a girl who lives with her father, works in a flower shop and has never known love in her life, until Ehsan stumbles into her life. But Suri is blind, and Ehsan is deaf and dumb. How they fall in love, learn to be there for each other when one can't see and the others can't hear and speak?That's too sweet to tell...
